Jayne started dancing at the age of 6 years competing in many festivals across the country and was the British Tap champion, moving on to be a very successful professional dancer appearing in many TV shows and Fashion shows.

 

Television Credits: Royal Variety Performances, Hale & Pace, French & Saunders, Children In Need, Smash Hits, Lenny Henry, Lily Savage to name a few as well as being one of the original Sky Strikers for Sky football.

 

Fashion Shows include: The London Ski Show, La Senza, Top Shop, New Look, Mothercare, Pineapple, Harrods, Next.

 

After achieving her ambitions by working with and assisting the best choreographers in her field, Jayne turned her hand to choreography and teaching dance to a wide range of students between 2 – 30 years. As a choreographer in both professional and amateur shows her credits to date include:

Professional Credits: Interview with a Vampire, The Boat Show, Jaguar, Seat, Ford, Mercedes and Toyota Car launches, Bluewater Fashion Show, Ice Shows, The Ideal Home Exhibition, IBM Trade shows and a Bond extravaganza at Euro Disney. Pantomimes – Cinderella (Richmond Theatre and His Majesty’s , Aberdeen), Aladdin (Congress, Eastbourne and Crucible, Sheffield), Snow White (New London, Hull).

Amateur Credits: Aladdin, We Will Rock You, West Side Story, Hello Dolly, Me & My Girl, A Chorus Line, Stepping Out, Honk, Bugsy Malone, Oliver, Singing in the Rain, Little Shop of Horrors. Alice in Wonderland, Elf the Musical, Sweeney Todd, How to Succeed in Business.

 

Putting all of her knowledge and experience together, Jayne became a Theatrical Agent in 1983 and has helped many young stars up the ladder. Her clients have appeared in 

Theatre: Matilda, (Cambridge Theatre), Sound of Music (Malaysia & UK Tour), Oliver, (The London Palladium), Whistle Down the Wind, (Aldwych Theatre), Nine ( Donmar Warehouse) Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (The London Palladium).

Commercials: Tescos, Morrisons, HSBC, Sainsburys, KFC, Persil, Kingsmill, DFS, Rice Krispies. Film: Nativity, The Da Vinci Code, Thirteen, Lazarus Child.

Television: Eastenders, Holby City, Sold, Casualty, The Roman Empire, Waking the Dead, Crimewatch, Footballers Wives, Smarter than a 10 year old.

 

Phew: Jayne thinks it’s time to retire and hang up those shoes!!!!  We think:  Not just yet!
